Teaching artists skilled in evidence-based practices demonstrate the art of teaching in and through the arts. This module features Mark McKenna, a theater artist.
The Aesthetics of Theater
Using art for expression should be recognized, encouraged, and developed in everyone. Through art, experiences are heightened, elevated, and made more memorable and significant.
The participants will explore and use “aesthetic operations” and distinguish meaningful “qualities of movement” (space/shape, time/rhythm, force/action) to effectively and enjoyably tell stories.
